A Little History

What if the answer already exists in nature — it just hasn’t been studied enough yet?

During her PhD research, scientist Lina Dėnė explored plant extracts as antifungal agents. She saw how carefully selected and appropriately applied plant compounds could be as effective as synthetic substances. She also realized that this knowledge could have a place in everyday personal care.

And so PETALNORD was born — not from a business idea, but from a scientific conviction.

The goal has remained the same: to unlock the potential of plant extracts. To study them and develop them as active ingredients in cosmetic formulations — not as decorative additions to an ingredient list, but as functional components of formulations designed to deliver a real purpose.

We are starting our journey by introducing daily oral care products that combine the benefits of plant-based ingredients, scientific knowledge, and ease of use. Plant extracts are the active ingredients. Alcohol-free. With laboratory-tested antimicrobial activity.

PETALNORD Oral Care Gel, formulated with clove and mint extracts, is convenient to carry with you and helps maintain oral hygiene and freshness both at the office and while travelling, when access to water is not available.

PETALNORD Mouthwash, formulated with clove, grapefruit, and lavender extracts, reaches areas of the mouth that are difficult to clean and supports enhanced oral hygiene when more intensive care is needed, including in situations involving the teeth, gums, or oral mucosa.
